Monroe, NC: Police: 9-year-old daughter witnessed murder-suicide

MONROE, N.C. -- Union County deputies are investigating a murder-suicide after two people were found dead in Monroe on Thursday morning.
Officials say the two victims are a husband and his wife.  Police identified the couple as 36-year-old Mary Ismail and 45-year-old Bobby Ismail.
The couple's 9-year-old daughter witnessed the shootings, police said.
Deputies were called to a home in the 1500 block of Sikes Mill Road near Unionville after 6 a.m. Thursday. The home is located near a child development center.

Police say the Ismails were married but had recently separated and were not living together.  Mary Ismail and the daughter were inside a truck waiting for the school bus to arrive when Bobby Ismail showed up at a driveway off of Sikes Mill Road.
Bobby was found just outside the home.
After the shootings, the young daughter ran to get help, and a second person nearby then called police.
Neighbors say Mary Ismail had moved in with another man and they were living together in a different community.
