Las Vegas, NV: Estranged Husband Kills Self, Another Man

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police said an estranged husband killed an acquaintance of his wife and then himself inside a house in the 2000 block of Sunland Avenue, near Rancho and Alta drives.
A woman and her children escaped the house before the bodies were found Wednesday afternoon. Police had been called to the house because the woman's estranged husband had kicked in the door to the house where she and her children had been staying. After leaving the house, she called police and told them her husband had a gun.
Officers then called in SWAT members and negotiators when it was believed the husband and another man were inside the home.
The male acquaintance, who did not escape in time, was shot and killed by the husband, the police said.
According to police, it appears the husband then killed himself. The two men's identities will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
