Prince George's County police are investigating a murder-suicide that took the life of a man and woman in Laurel Sunday.

On Sunday about 7 p.m., officers responded to the 14100 block of Bramble Court for reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found Aeris Lashay Beard, 19, of the 11200 block of Basswood Terrace, and Adam Clayton Owsley II, 21, of the 14100 block of Bramble Court, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both were pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigations revealed that Beard and Owsley had been in a relationship for about three years. It was determined that Owsley shot Beard before taking his own life.
