The Berrien County prosecutor's office will attempt to try the 16-year-old girlfriend of a man killed Tuesday as an adult. David Quinn Jr., 21, was shot at his home on Shanghai Road in Pipestone Township.
His girlfriend, who we are not identifying because she is a minor, was found at the home when police arrived. A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 3:00pm, where the Family Court judge the motion to try the teenager as an adult will be heard.
The teen is currently being held at the Berrien County Juvenile Center.
