MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Police are investigating a stabbing that killed a 35-year-old man in Montgomery and a shooting that claimed the life of an 18-year-old.
Police Capt. Keith Barnett said that Vennie Guy died early Saturday after he was stabbed in the neck by his girlfriend. Witnesses told police that Guy pulled a gun during a domestic altercation.
Investigators said they have located and interviewed the girlfriend. It was not immediately clear whether she will face any charges over the death.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the shooting death Friday of David Hall. No arrests have been made.
