ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- An Allentown man will spend decades in jail for brutally beating his girlfriend to death.
Alfredo Ortiz was sentenced to 20-40 years behind bars for the death of Francesca Isley.
It happened back in July inside an apartment on West Allen Street. Police say Ortiz beat Isley to death with a baseball bat and shoved a piece of the bat down her throat.
He pleaded guilty to third degree murder last month.
