Pete Dominguez Accused In Slaying Of Christina Pierce

SAN DIEGO -- A one-time San Diego resident was taken into custody Tuesday on suspicion of murdering his girlfriend while they were living at a campground in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Detectives from the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office and officers with the El Cajon Police Department arrested 39-year-old Pete Frank Dominguez in Santee on Monday afternoon, ECPD Lt. Steve Shakowski said.
Dominguez was being sought in the slaying of former El Cajon resident Christina Pierce, who went missing last spring. Her body was found Aug. 26 alongside a road at River Ranch Campground in Stanislaus National Forest.
An autopsy determined that the 42-year-old woman had been asphyxiated.
Dominguez, also known as Petri Lister and Petri Von Frank, previously lived in eastern San Diego County and Ocean Beach, the lieutenant said.

Pete will serve 15 to Life.

THANKS VERONICA FOR THE INFORMATION ABOUT PF DOMINGUEZ...I AM CHRISTINA MARIE PIERCE'S MOTHER AND HAD BEEN UNABLE TO FIND OUT HOW HE DIED --- THE ONLY REASON I WAS ABLE TO LEARN OF HIS DEATH WAS BECAUSE HE WAS NO LONGER LISTED IN THE CALIFORNIA PRISON'S DATABASE...I THOUGHT HE WAS FINALLY ASSIGNED A PERMANENT PRISON LOCATION AND HAD BEEN MOVED FROM THE PROCESSING CENTER IN WHICH HE HAD BEEN LOCATED SO I CALLED VICTIM'S SERVICES AND WAS INFORMED OF HIS DEATH --- THEY HAD FORGOTTEN TO SEND HER CHILDREN AND ME NOTIFICATION!!!...GOOD THING I CALLED THEM OR I MIGHT HAVE EVER KNOWN...AND YES, I DO THINK IT IRONIC THAT HE HANGED HIMSELF --- ALSO, POETIC JUSTICE AS HE FOUND OUT HOW SHE FELT WHEN HE KILLED HER...THANKS AGAIN...WISHING YOU WELL --- ALICE L ROUZER
