Philadelphia, PA: Man stabbed to death, girlfriend is held

A 25-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the Tacony section Wednesday night and his 36-year-old girlfriend was in custody, police said. The man was stabbed once in the chest shortly after 8 p.m. inside an apartment in the 4800 block of Longshore Avenue, police said. He was pronounced dead at Aria Health-Torresdale Campus at 8:35.
