ROLLA, Mo.-- A man from Phelps County man is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal actioni for the death of his live-in girlfriend. Investigators say Brent Schwertz, 36, shot Tracy Weber, 40, last Thursday night at their home on County Road 2010.
Officers arrested Schwertz at the scene. He is in the Phelps County jail in lieu of $1 million bond.
