MEMPHIS, TN – Domestic violence may be to blame for a shooting at an East Memphis apartment complex. A man was shot in the chest just before 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009. A woman is in custody, but has not yet been charged.
It happened at the Madison Humphrey's Center Apartments in the 300 block of Winding Wolf Place, not far from Baptist Women’s Center.
Fogelman Management Group owns the apartment complex. Managers released a statement this afternoon saying cops tell them this is a domestic violence incident.
