A couple was found dead Thursday in an apparent murder-suicide in their York Township home, the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office said today.
At about 2 p.m. Thursday, sheriff’s deputies were sent to the 10100 block of Faetano Lane to check on the couple, who had not been heard from since Monday. They were found dead inside their home.
A preliminary investigation concluded that James Kwiatkowski 52, killed his wife Stephanie Kwiatkowski, 52, then took his own life, authorities said. They died within a short time of each other.
