A man was arrested Sunday in connection with the stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend.

Officers were called to a home at 1259 N. Farley Drive just after 8:30 a.m., said Sgt. Paul Thompson.

Robert Crawford, 23, was found lying in the driveway, suffering from several stab wounds. He was transported to Wishard Memorial Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Investigators said they believe Crawford was stabbed after an argument with his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend -- Mark Miller, 26 -- who is the father of one of her children, 6News' Tanya Spencer reported.

Crawford was angry that Miller had spent the night at the woman's home, and chased him into the bathroom, which is when Miller pulled a knife, police said.

The woman's two young children were in the home at the time, and witnessed the argument, investigators said.

Neighbors saw Crawford stumble out onto the driveway.

"The victim walked out. I noticed he had blood on him and he was holding his neck. He was trying to walk to the car," said Keith Houston. "The next thing you know he took his hand off of his neck and that's when blood started squirting out."

Miller was found about an hour after the stabbing and was taken into custody for questioning. He was arrested Sunday afternoon.
